Oh, I like this! Great response to the prompt.
The header image really works with this theme, too. But the problem with Tarski, as you’ve probably already discovered, is that it pushes comments down below the sidebar.

Dave,
thanks!
I am more annoyed that tags etc start at the top by the title. I like a nice clean space between title and poem.

I just changed to this theme too, because of the clean, open look, but the comments bar IS funny.
I like your poem - great sense of humor. and I like how your blog looks. Found you through RWP.

There really aren’t a whole lot of themes at WP.com that work well for poetry, are there? I know several literary people who object to the platform largely on aesthetic grounds, and prefer Typepad as a result.

Thanks Maria Cristina,
I liked your use of the avocado as uterus imagery in your poem. And the Ann Taylor part was very funny!
Qarrtsiluni,
I really never looked into typepad. I have a blog on blogger and wasn’t thrilled, WP seemed so easy…

You’ve been quiet for a long time, so I hope all is well. I am passing this along in hopes of hearing your voice again.

thanks for the visit. I have been unable to write. I am not sure if it is writers block or a work/life/family thing.

Hi! I’m new to your blog - having found it through Scott the Poet.
I have to tell you, I have never read a poem featuring cat-piss or litter boxes, but owning 4 cats myself, I could definitely smell that in my nostrils as I read. Powerful stuff! (literally).
I have a WordPress blog as well and I too, am bothered by the way the tags stick out at the top. I’ve all but eliminated them.
I’m adding you to my links.
Please stop by my blog and let me know what you think. If you choose to link to me, I will be pleased.
