I have been writing poetry off and on for 15 years or so. I really enjoy writing poetry, but have a hard time reading it. I have specific poets that I enjoy and books I have picked up in the past. I would certainly enjoy hearing recommendations from anyone who visits this site, and of course feedback on the poetry is also welcome. Please try hard not to be rude…

My only request it to keep writing. I just wanted to let you know I shut down Poetic Leanings. I felt I had to do it for certain reasons. I continue to write and send my stuff via E Mail from time to time to friends and “fans.”

I am sorry you are shutting down Poetic Leanings. I really enjoyed your site. I don’t have a lot of time to look at different sites, but when I did I liked yours. Thanks for all your wonderful comments. I hope to “see” you visiting soon. I also hope to see your poetry in print!

Thanx, Roberta. One never knows where I could turn up, though I have no plans in the works to try to publish anything. I did perform last Friday, which was fun. Anyway, I enjoy reading your work, so I will be watching.
